All suites are equipped with:

Exclusive use of the 6-bedroom house and all its facilities
Full board: all meals and snacks
All standard beverages (including house wines, local beers, and spirits).
A full range of guided activities including game drives in Maputo National Park, dhow cruises, motorised water sports, inshore fishing, snorkelling, fat biking, nature walks, kayaking, and bush & beach picnics.
All park and marine reserve entry fees.
Daily housekeeping and a full laundry service.
$40 pp Community and conservation contribution to the Matalai Foundation

Rates Exclude:
International flights and visa costs.
Travel insurance
Transfers to and from Machangulo.
Deep-sea fishing charters.
Premium alcoholic beverages (e.g., Champagne, premium spirits, and cellar wines).

Rates:
- Minimum Stay:
A minimum stay of 3 nights is required for all bookings. - Child Policy:
Children under the age of 6 stay free of charge. Children aged 6-16 are charged the child rate. - Confirmation:
A 50% deposit is required to confirm a booking. The balance is due 90 days prior to arrival. - Cancellation Policy:
1. All cancellations must be made in writing.
2. 91+ days prior to arrival: 10% of the total booking value is forfeited.
3. 61 to 90 days prior to arrival: The 50% deposit is forfeited.
4. 60 days or less prior to arrival: 100% of the total booking value is forfeited. - Travel Insurance:
We strongly recommend that all guests take out comprehensive travel insurance, including cancellation and medical coverage. - Currency:
All rates are quoted and invoiced in US Dollars (USD). - Payment:
All payments are to be made in USD into our designated bank account.
- In the event of a Force Majeure, our primary action is to offer postponement to a new date within 12 months of original arrival (subject to availability/rate differences) or a credit note for payments made, valid for 12 months.
- Should the Force Majeure event render it impossible for the operator to offer a refund, Matalai House is not liable for any loss incurred.
- Comprehensive travel insurance is highly recommended to cover unforeseen circumstances.
